Dental Anthropologic Study on the High School Students of Che-ju island

Abstract
|

|
To analysis male and female student of che-ju high school dental anthropologically, cephalometric X-ray and dental casts were obtained of 60 male and 60 female students.
@ES The results were as follows:
@EN 1. The Mean and Standard Deviation of che-ju high school students were obtained from cephalometric X-ray and dental casts.
2. There were no differenace in craniofacial morphology between male and female students but the size of craniofacial skeleton of male is bigger than female. The distance from NB line to pogonion is larger in male group, and it meant that
symphysis of
male is well developed than female.
3. The size of teeth of male is larger than female and is significant in upper and lower canine and first molar. The size of upper arch width, intercanine width, basal arch width and lower basal arch width of male is larger than female, but arch
length
of male and female showed no significant differance.
